Hey! Have you seen these toilets? They’re ginormous!
Well guess what. Santa came last night and Claire got her Christmas wish.
Smiling is my favorite.
That’s right. A hockey helmet with a mask. I swear, any person who was willing to listen to the kid heard her loud and clear. There was no mistake. Hockey helmet with a mask.
To see the joy on her face at 7:30 this morning was well worth hearing her tell every soul on creation her holiday wish.
Luca got A ROBOT! IT’S A ROBOT, MOMMY! YOU SEE?! SANTA GOT ME A ROBOT!
Maelie got a bunch of random stuff.
Oh but they made her so very happy.
So did the blue plastic bag that somehow got mixed in with the mess of wrapping paper.
And her favorite gift was a box. But not just any box…
For the record I got an ice cream maker, a new printer, a router that WORKS, and this:
That’s right. It’s a gnome. His name is still pending, though we’ve had full length conversations already.
We ate segregated English muffins, to which Ben said, “I’m uncomfortable.”
We played AWESOME games.
Then we played Mario Kart on the Wii while Carly put together an annoyingly difficult toy that SHE bought for Luca. It only makes sense that she would build such a toy. With Gorilla Glue.
And then I checked out my new yoga mat and iPhone cover. (It’s a checklist!)
But my greatest gifts were seeing Claire use her imagination to the fullest,
Watching Luca smile big knowing he was going to see his Grandma and Papa,
Seeing Miss Mae enjoy her very first Christmas,
And fully annoying my husband,
Then I forgot to buy chicken to make for dinner tonight, so we had fantastic potatoes and fish sticks.
Have a very merry J Lo Christmas.
