Flashback – 1984

I may have only been alive for 19 days in 1984, but that’s the year I graced the Earth with my presence. So in honor of that, my core and lower half music is all from 1984.

Prince – When Doves Cry [Edit LP Version]
Quiet Riot – Cum On Feel The Noize
Bruce Springsteen – Cover Me
Scandal – The Warrior featuring Patty Smyth
The Cars – You Might Think
Pat Benatar – Love Is A Battlefield
John Mellencamp – Pink Houses
Don Henley – The Boys Of Summer
ZZ Top – Legs
Billy Joel – Uptown Girl
The Pointer Sisters – Automatic
Duran Duran – The Reflex
Van Halen – Jump
Cyndi Lauper – Time After Time

Sad part? I can sing every song. Those were 19 days well spent.

  1. I’m so, so glad we were too young in the 80s to get in to its popular music.

  2. I don’t like doing lower half class, but I would kill it for this soundtrack.

  3. Finally!! You get some REAL music in there! (You still should have went “Hot for Teacher” though, instead of “Jump.”) “Cover Me” was an inspired choice though… most would have gone with “Dancing in the Dark.”
